10 years of CELEBRATION !
In 10 years, Tabani Cottage Venue has become a nice rustic private party complex, located just 5 km from the town of Rakvere, Estonia. We are known for our simple tastes and cozy rooms, where you can celebrate without disturbing others, even until the morning. In addition to the large party house, we have created a sauna house for smaller groups with a hot tub, which also includes a summer barbecue. We are grateful that during this time we have had such nice customers who have celebrated all their events in our small family business! Let us celebrate for another 10 years to come !
THE HISTORY OF TABANI Tavern
This tavern with one stable was built in the 1840s as the tavern of the Karitsa manor. Manors built wooden village taverns along the major roads, where they sold beer and the products of their own wine kitchens, provided food and drink on the roads, and rested horses. Peasants exchanged news, traded and celebrated in taverns. Taverns were popular meeting places for rural people, at the end of the 19th century there were 2,400 taverns in Estonia.
